Jeanise is passionate about social justice, protecting civil rights, and advocating for marginalized communities. She has years of experience skillfully working on and leading teams, organizing and coordinating projects and communication, and building strong relationships. Jeanise is currently a pre-law student at Portland State University and plans to attend law school next year to further her commitment to making a positive impact on the world. In the meantime, she is fulfilling her passion by helping people through the employment law intake process, actively listening to their stories and working diligently to guide them to the next step of their legal journey. 

 

Having lived in Portland for eight years, Jeanise loves the access to nature and the changing seasons, especially the Pacific Northwest summers. She has a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty, which fuels her dedication to her studies, community involvement, and volunteer work. Outside of her academic pursuits, Jeanise is an avid dog lover, enjoys traveling to new destinations, and is enthusiastic about sports.
